NBCUniversal International is launching its new studio-based entertainment format at MIPCOM with an innovative campaign. Delegates will have the opportunity to win a Tesla, Model S while they participate in a MIPCOM-based game in the QuizUp app. The specially designed platform will test delegates on their knowledge of TV and trivia. NBC has given a 10-episode order to the new series QuizUp, where in-studio contestants will try to earn a fortune by winning trivia battles against viewers who play in real-time from home on their mobile devices. The U.K.’s ITV is the first network in Europe to order a non-TX pilot of the new format.
