Showtime ordered a 10-episode series adaptation of the Xbox franchise Halo. Kyle Killen will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer.
Rupert Wyatt is attached to direct multiple episodes and to serve as executive producer. Produced by Showtime in association with Microsoft/343 Industries, with Amblin Television, Halo will take place during a 26th-century conflict between humanity and an unknown alien threat.
The series will enter production in early 2019.
