CBC and Netflix renewed the series Anne (With An E), which is returning in 2018 with 10 new episodes. Produced by Northwood Entertainment, the series is based on the L.M. Montgomery novel Anne of Green Gables. The returning cast includes Amybeth McNulty, Geraldine James, and Lucas Jade Zumann, among others. The filming for the second season begins this fall. Anne (With An E) is the coming-of-age drama of Anne, the 14-year-old protagonist, who is in search of love and acceptance in the world.
