ABC yesterday announced eight new dramas, four new comedies, three reality series and a live musical event coming for 2017-2018. Dramas are The Crossing; Deception; For the People; The Good Doctor; The Gospel of Kevin; The Inhumans; a Grey’s Anatomy spin-off that’ll take place in a Seattle firehouse; and Ten Days in the Valley, about an overworked TV producer, whose young daughter goes missing in the middle of the night, and finds her life and her controversial police series imploding. On the comedy side, ABC has picked up Alex, Inc about an inquisitive journalist, husband and father who dives headfirst into becoming an entrepreneur; Roseanne, a limited series reunion of the popular 1990s show about a working class family; Splitting Up Together, and The Mayor (pictured) Reality series include The Bachelor Winter Games, a reboot of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars Junior. Also, ABC will get into the live musical game with a version of The Little Mermaid.
