SPI International appointed Jeroen Bergman (pictured) to managing director of Film1, the recent acquisition based in the Netherlands.
Following a deal with Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, SPI will own the Film1 brand as of August 1, 2019. Under the Film1 umbrella, SPI International will operate four pay-movie services: Film1 Premiere, Film1 Drama, Film1 Action, and Film1 Family. Bergman previously served as managing director of Programming at Liberty Global.
Entertainment One (eOne) named Alex Oe as director of Sales for Japan, Korea, and Pan-Asia, International Distribution.
Based in Seoul, Oe will lead the sales of the company’s film and television slate across linear and non-linear OTT platforms. Prior to joining eOne, Oe served as vice president of Asia Distribution at Legendary Television.
