Banijay Group launched a new production company headquartered in Cologne, Banijay Productions Germany. Arno Schneppenheim (pictured), the founder of the German production company Florida TV, will lead the unit. “We aim to build Banijay Productions Germany into one of the most innovative production companies for TV, video-on-demand and live entertainment, offering new, fresh, daytime, access and primetime formats as well as branded content and social media productions,” commented Schneppenheim.

Paris-based Cyber Group Studios hired Thierry Braille to lead the company’s new interactive division. Braille was formerly vice president and managing director for Disney Interactive (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Reporting to COO Dominique Bourse, Braille will develop a full IP strategy for the company’s brands, beginning with Gigantosaurus, Sadie Sparks, and Taffy, among others. The division also aims to develop games and interactive digital experiences across mobile platforms and traditional console platforms.
