CBS has its upfront later this afternoon, but so far we know the network has picked up four dramas and four comedies. Dramas are: S.W.A.T, about a S.W.A.T. sergeant torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a specialized tactical unit in Los Angeles; Instinct, which follows a former CIA operative who has since built a “normal” life as a gifted professor and writer but is lured back into his old life; SEAL Team (pictured), about the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs; and Wisdom of the Crowd, about a tech innovator who creates a cutting-edge crowdsourcing app to solve his daughter’s murder, and revolutionizes crime solving. The comedies that have already been announced are 9JKL, about a man who’s literally surrounded by his family;  Me, Myself & I, a single-camera comedy examining one man’s life over a 50-year span; Young Sheldon, a prequel to The Big Bang Theory that follows one of the main characters in his childhood, and By the Book, about a man who decides to live according to the bible for one year.
