Toronto International Film Festival  (TIFF) has decided to screen all eight episodes of HBO Europe’s new drama series Pustina at this year’s festival. Stepan Hulik (Burning Bush) is the writer of the eight-part series, which tells the story of a small village community who face a string of mysterious events. The townspeople experience pressure from contemporary society to abandon their traditions and assimilate. The show will premiere in the fall. Nutprodukce and Etamp, who also made Burning Bush for HBO Europe, produced the series.
