STUDIOCANAL has sealed a deal for Harlan Coben’s The Five with Dutch Public TV NPO. The RED produced series, an original commission for Sky1, stars Tom Cullen, O-T Fagbenle, Lee Ingleby and Sarah Solemani as a group of friends who discover some shocking news about a young boy who disappeared from their watch twenty years ago. The series will premiere June 12 on NPO2 during the network’s annual “Detective Month.” In March of this year, Harlan Coben, in partnership with RED’s Nicola Shindler, launched Final Twist Productions, an independent production company based in the U.S. that will develop contemporary drama for American broadcast networks.
